On my somewhat long list of holiday DIY projects, sits the advent calendar. Last year, I made this little one with tiny paper christmas trees and snowflakes. This year, I’d like to incorporate little treats & snacks into the mix and am deciding between a hanging calendar or one made with little christmas trees, placed on our piano top. And seriously, I am in love with that last pottery barn-inspired advent calendar, with pots or buckets hanging off dowels or branches – too cute!
Can’t wait to start holiday crafting!

Cute ideas!! One of the above pics is on my pinterest, too. The variety of green cone trees with white pompon tops would be sweet table place settings – a great activity for kids as well.
Hi! Those would be too cute as table settings with little names on them… what a great idea!
I was doing a search on google for a christmas craft and found your blog. My name is Sheralyn too!!! spelled the exact same way! I don’t think I’ve met anyone who spelled it the same! Love the advent ideas! I’m gonna pin it to my Pinterest! :) (this is my blog: http://shersweetsomethings.blogspot.com/ )
Thanks so much for stopping by! That’s amazing – I don’t think I’ve met anyone with the same name either. Plus, I looked at your blog and your little girl is too adorable! :)
