poached eggs

There are only a few things I love more than eggs benedict in the morning. Creamy poached eggs, smoky ham, airy english muffins, a gentle douse of hollandaise – mmmm, delicious. But sadly, I have yet to fully master the art of poaching eggs. Yes, there have been instances of success, but there is also failure (utter, UTTER failure) – so really, there is no consistency! And this morning, Steve and I tried to poach eggs for breakfast.

We failed.(But you can’t really tell from the picture, can you?)

So now I am determined. The current score (starting today) – Poached eggs 1 : Sheralyn 0

Oh, and speaking of challenges, can I just say how much I love Rick Bayless and Hubert Keller on Top Chef Masters! They are AWESOME.
