Working on the biggest backlog on Baking, Empirically (no posts since MAY!) and now trying to update madly to keep up (so the posts after this will be like a fast forward through months of homemade stuff, till we’re all caught up with recent happenings). So this pizza was made a LONG time ago, when Steve was visiting the Berks in May. I am not a big fan of pizza except if it is of the thin crust variety (ala Cheeseboard – oh how I love thee). But once in a blue moon, I get a crazy for a nice thick slice of doughy goodness. We made the dough from a whole wheat flour, left it to rise, put some tomato paste, pepperoni, broccoli, red peppers (but only on my side) and cheese, then put it in the oven and voila!
