Taking you on a little food adventure through the KL trip in June with the family, where pretty much all we did was eat, shop, walk and sleep, on repeat.
Starting with Bak Kut Teh (pork bone soup) on the road to KL,
Dinner of crab, delicious fried rice, even more delicious tom yum soup at Noong and Jimmy’s,
A breakfast trip to Pasar Baru Bukit Bintang, where the peanut pancakes (mi jiam kueh), popiah & curry cheong fun (rice rolls?) is SO good and the fruit and food is abundant! We bought a golden melon, which tastes like a cross between a honeydew and a cantaloupe and an apple, weird!
Dinner at Green View Restaurant for delicious sang har mee (prawn noodles), crispy fried squid and mum’s favourite, pig trotters!
Breakfast at that little coffee shop before meeting the brother at Sepang, where mum ate pig intestines (ewwww) and where we bought gai paos (baked chicken buns) that I swear are the most delicious things ever.
