Whenever a vendor we’re contacting asks us about our colour scheme, we walk the line between telling them that we don’t have one (though we kind of do) and that we do have one (though every colour is pretty much included in there). The best way to put it is that we’re planning a colourful wedding with soft, light, almost-candy versions of every colour – like mint, blush, lavendar, sea foam, light grey, buttercup – and a few pops of bold like fuchsia and marigold. Although I am thinking it will be hard to keep to those soft tones once we have talked more with our florist – but that’s okay because it’ll still be colourful, just in an assortment of shades.

On the note of colour, Marci and Redge’s wedding is pretty darn spectacular – look at all that vibrant colour, those flowers, all the assorted jars they thrifted and the fabric streamers! And their display of fresh peaches as favours is just so lovely and rustic, isn’t it?
