Our ceremony was pretty short and sweet. My mom walked me down the aisle to a kebaya that belonged to my grandmother. We walked to Nattoppet by Detektivbyrån – the air filled with the bright sound of xylophones. We said our vows and exchanged rings to the sounds of the lake and the flutter of origami cranes in the wind. And before we knew it, the officiant pronounced us as man & wife and then, there was some kissing, some cheering and a whole lot of joy.
