This weekend, we had family brunch at Bronte, an Australian style cafe tucked in Greenwood. The food was good – everyone at the table raved about their steak sandwich, you must definitely try it! Later that night, we celebrated A’s birthday with a litte dinner soiree with friends. The boy and I decorated the patio with lettered bunting and colourful tissue paper pom poms I made that morning. They are so pretty blowing in the wind.

The brother fired the bbq for grilled cod, wagyu and lamb chops and along with that, we had appetizer plates of deviled eggs and tomatoes stuffed with basil and bocconcini, a salad with all the best things, salmon leek pasta and of course, what’s a birthday party without cake? The cake in question being a Strawberry Hill from Glace. Good food and the best company, that’s a pretty good way to spend the weekend.
